Our love story is no different from any other couple. Guy meets girl, guy falls in love with girl, and guy wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But for Liza and I, this process has spanned over eight years. So why decide to get married now you ask?
Well, I planned to propose to Liza two years ago, but because of complications with her health I had to put it off. Needless to say, it was a very difficult and trying time for the both of us. It seemed like a never-ending merry-go-round of different doctors, different tests and medications, and countless hours waiting at her side.
Thankfully, with the help of our Almighty Father, Liza has been given a clean bill of health. And I realized then that I could have lost the one good thing in my life … forever.
So earlier this year, out at sea enjoying a beautiful sunset aboard the Ko Olina Catamaran, I surprised Liza by asking her to marry me.
We could not have gotten through the last two years without the love and support of our families and our close friends. We look forward to seeing all of you at what undoubtedly will be the happiest day of our lives!
